MINNEAPOLIS -- For at least another 10 days, the Timberwolves are hanging on to their 7-foot, 250-pound insurance policy at center.
Ahead of the team's afternoon matchup Monday at Charlotte, the Wolves announced they've signed big man Miroslav Raduljica to a second 10-day contract. Originally inked Jan. 8, he's appeared in three games and averages 6.3 minutes, 2.7 points and one rebound per game.
But he's been a necessary stopgap behind Gorgui Dieng. Although usual starter Nikola Pekovic is close to returning, Dieng and Raduljica remain the only healthy centers on the roster.

Pekovic, who's missed the past 30 games with ankle and wrist ailments, is listed as doubtful for Monday's 1 p.m. contest against the Hornets.
