Thunder's Perkins fires back at Rudy Gay
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Kendrick Perkins didn't have very nice things to say about Sacramento earlier this season.
And Sacramento's Rudy Gay didn't have very nice things to say about Perkins, calling the Thunder center a clown.
"He might as well play with his face painted," Gay said earlier Sunday.
Well, Perkins didn't hesitate to fire back at Gay before the Thunder's game Sunday night against Phoenix.
"I'd rather be a clown than a virus," Perkins said. "At least if I paint my face, I can wash the paint off. A virus gets in your bloodstream. You can't get rid of that."
Earlier this season, Perkins was caught on tape saying, "They're still Sacramento," during a timeout.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, the Thunder play at Sacramento on Tuesday.
