Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb to play against Grizzlies?
Jeremy Lamb could play Friday night, Reggie Jackson is fine, Anthony Morrow is close and Andre Roberson and Perry Jones didn't practice Thursday.
That's the newest in the ever-evolving injury front with the Thunder as they get ready for their second home game of the season Friday against Memphis.
The Thunder are 1-4 this season.
The Oklahoman reported Lamb went through a full workout and Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman shared a Vine of Lamb working on his game.
Lamb has yet to play this season for the Thunder and OKC could certainly use his help. The Thunder were down to seven active players Tuesday night in a loss to Toronto after Jones went out with a right leg contusion. Roberson was hurt against Brooklyn on Monday night.
Meanwhile, The Oklahoman also reported free agent guard Anthony
Morrow could be closer to returning. Morrow has not played so far this season. Coach Scott Brooks said Morrow was doubtful for Friday night.
Jackson missed the first three games of the season, but played Monday at Brooklyn and again Tuesday in Toronto. However, Jackson was noticeably limping against the Raptors in the second half. Brooks said Jackson was fine and would play Friday night.
Both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are expected to miss at least another month. Royce Young of The Daily Thunder and ESPN reported Durant is out of his walking boot as is Mitch McGary, the rookie forward from Michigan, who was the Thunder's first round draft pick in June. McGary has not played at all after getting injured in training camp.
