Thunder coach says Durant, Westbrook will begin practicing
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Today is a big day for the Thunder.
No, they don't have a game, but Scott Brooks announced Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook will be practicing.
"Not any of the contact stuff," Brooks said. "But they will go through some of our practice and we'll go from there."
Brooks said the two are scheduled to be re-evaluated sometime next week. Durant has not played this season, due to a stress fracture in his right foot. Westbrook played one game and injured his right hand.
If the two are practicing, then it's not out of the question the two could return to the lineup quickly. And seeing as how the Thunder are in last place in the Western Conference at 3-11, the team and the two might be even more interested in getting back.
The Thunder play at home Sunday against Golden State.
