Three takeaways from the Blue Jackets 4-3 SO loss to the Rangers

One: You could tell this was the second game in 24 hours for the Blue Jackets, as the Rangers played at a pace the visitors couldn't quite keep up with. Their passing wasn't very crisp and they were missing assignments that directly led to two Rangers goals in the first period.

Two: They were a bit better in the middle frame, although their passing was not crisp and a touch slow. It was almost as if they had to take a split-second to process the fact that they had the puck on their stick.

Three: The Foligno/Anisimov/Dano line was in beast mode all night, but especially in the final 40 minutes. They scored a couple of goals and were creating chances at every opportunity. McElhinney was decent tonight with not a lot of help in front of him, definitely early in the game.
