One: Columbus did not play as physical a game as they needed to against the Blues. St. Louis controlled the physical play for the final 40 minutes of play. This was not the Blue Jackets that you are used to seeing.
Two: the Blue Jackets passing was off the mark for the majority of the game. No tape-to-tape passing seemed to be the norm tonight. This has to get better and fast.
Three: See numbers one and two above. Bottom line? This was a game to forget, although they needed the two points that were in the offing.
