The Thrashers have officially signed Swedish Elite League forward Fredrik Pettersson. The former fifth-round pick of the Edmonton Oilers has spent the past three seasons playing for Frolunda where he has been teammates with Thrashers prospects Carl Klingberg and Nicklas Lasu.
