The Stanley Cup gets X-rayed passing through airport security
En route to Chicago for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals and possibly a championship ceremony if the Blackhawks are victorious Monday night, the greatest trophy in professional sports got subjected to the same scrutiny as (almost) every other piece of airport luggage.
Now that's just coolest thing I never knew I wanted to see.
Going through security at airports is always fun. Especially with the #StanleyCup. @HockeyHallFame @NHL pic.twitter.com/7YcxhBEFFq

The official Keeper of the Cup Phillip Pritchard posted the photo early Monday morning. Pritchard literally has one job so I've got to imagine he carries the cup on board, otherwise he must idle around baggage claim with dread in the pit of his stomach every time.
