Dwayne Johnson is home after hernia surgery.

The 40-year-old "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" star tweeted a photo of himself in a hospital bed Tuesday. He's flexing his muscles while wearing a Superman shirt and a hospital bonnet. See for yourself:

Johnson wrote that the doctor repaired three hernia tears. Johnson's publicist, Alan Nierob, says the actor is now recovering at home.

Johnson first told the world of the planned surgery on Sunday:

Johnson's latest film, "Pain & Gain," opens Friday. He reportedly missed the Monday night Los Angeles premiere of the film co-starring Mark Wahlberg because of the injury. He can also be seen in "Fast & Furious 6" next month.

Johnson, who first broke into entertainment wrestling as “The Rock” in World Wrestling Entertainment, reportedly suffered the injury while wrestling John Cena in WrestleMania 29 on April 7.
