The Blues will not use all of these injuries as an excuse. Davis Payne won't let them. But the rash of injuries has certainly played a role in the hockey club's recent 0-3-1 skid. The Pat Trick looks at some trends heading into the first meeting of the season between the Blues and Red Wings.
3. After allowing just 17-goals in the first 12-games, the Blues have given up 21-goals in the last 4-games. An alarming trend that speaks to the loss of two top defensemen and a couple of highly skilled forwards.
