The Heart And Soul Of The Baltimore Ravens, O.J. Brigance

Brigance, who was a former special teams player for the Baltimore Ravens was diagnosed in 2007 with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease for which there is still no cure. The crippling disease took away O.J.'s ability to use his limbs, and even speak.
