After dropping the first three games they ever played against the lakers, the Bobcats have gone 7-2 against the reigning NBA Champs and face the Lakers in their only Charlotte appearance this season. The Bobcats 2 steps back 1 step forward tour continues with a dramatic win in Atlanta over the Hawks on Stephen Jackson's 20 foot jumper at the buzzer. That makes up for the loss to Indiana in similar fashion last week, now the Bobcats have to offset the Nets loss of Friday night. They catch the Lakers on the second night of a back to back after losing to Orlando 89-75.
DJ Augustin has scored 4 points in each of the last two games. Tonight he will be a game time decision because of a sprained left wrist. Boris Diaw's string of 195 consecutive starts will likely come to an end because of an alarm clock malfunction. He did get some shots up with assistant coach Charles Oakley prior to the Lakers noon time shootaround.
