Texas coach congratulates wrong player with similar name
The Texas Longhorns have a Malcolm Brown and a Malcom Brown. They sound the same but are spelled differently.
Defensive tackle Malcom Brown was taken by the New England Patriots with the final pick of the NFL Draft's first round on Thursday.

But Texas coach Charlie Strong sent a congratulatory tweet to Malcolm Brown, the running back, instead.
This of course caused some confusion as many believed running back Malcolm Brown would be joining the Super Bowl champions, but he was prepared for this and expected it to happen.
Let's see how many calls, text and tweets I get tonight when my bro @MalcomBrown_90 get drafted ??

Shortly after realizing his mistake, Strong deleted the tweet and made the correction.
@MalcomBrown_90 Congrats Big Mal! Proud of you!

Hopefully this won't happen again if the other Brown's name is called later in the draft.
