Terry Francona writes letter to Indians fans
Entering his second season as manager of the Cleveland Indians, Terry Francona has a message for the fans.
Francona, who guided the Tribe to 92 wins in his first year at the helm, wants the fans to know that there's unfinished business he plans to take care of. He adressed the upcoming season in a letter he wrote to the fanbase, published on Indians.com.
"This is a great time for our city and our team...
...Whatever this season is, it will be special. You're going to remember it because we're working our butts off to make that memory a great one. This team has the drive and ability to contend. These guys are special not just because they are great players, but because they truly are a team; like Cleveland, they won't back down. It's a simple recipe of respect, loyalty, fun and the most determined work ethic in the league."
