Temple wins 6th straight; 75-59 over Cincinnati

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Will Cummings scored 21 points, added five assists, and four steals to lead Temple to a 75-59 win over Cincinnati on Tuesday night.

Jaylen Bond added 16 points and Jesse Morgan finished with 12 for the Owls (18-7, 9-3 American Conference), who had 19 total assists as team on 28 total field goals with just seven turnovers. The Owls lead the American Conference in assist to turnover ratio.

Temple has won six straight games, and extracted a measure of revenge on the Bearcats, who were the last team to defeat them on January 17.

The Owls led by 11 at the break and by as many as 18 in the second half. Four of Temple's six wins have come by more than 15 points.

Farad Cobb led Cincinnati (17-7, 8-4) with 13 points off the bench. Shaquille Thomas had 11 and Troy Caupain 10.
