In the wake of the decision by Dolphins owner Stephen Ross to retain coach Tony Sparano after inquiring about three other coaching candidates this week, Ross might want to think about keeping an employment search open for a different reason.
It's going to take a whole staff of publicists to spin this mess.
Ross' private jet was scheduled to land in South Florida early Friday morning after a one-day recruiting trip to San Jose, where he met with Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh to explore the possibility of replacing Sparano with his fellow Michigan alum.
