ARLINGTON — A week after fumbling on the one-yard line in the final minutes of a 30-21 loss in San Diego, Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams bounced back with a game-high 151 receiving yards on four catches. The rookie also hauled in his first career touchdown, an 82-yarder midway through the third quarter, and added a two-point conversation grab early in the fourth.

"That feeling of walking off the field [in San Diego], I said, 'I can't come back and let these guys down,'" Williams said. "I took it as a personal challenge to come out here and just use my talents for what they brought me in for."

Williams, a third-round pick out of Baylor, also impressed one of his biggest critics with his play on Sunday.

"There wasn't a tougher guy on him, going into training camp, than me," Cowboys tight end Jason  Witten said. "I think that's because you knew he had potential to be a good player. He had speed, he can catch and this stage is not too big. It's just great to see him mature the way that he has. I was really proud of him."
