TCU co-offensive coordinator Fuente denies talking to LSU

TCU co-offensive coordinator Justin Fuente has refuted media reports linking him to LSU's open offensive coordinator position, with The Dallas Morning News reporting that he has not spoken with Tigers head coach Les Miles about the position.
Fuente, 34, has been on TCU's staff since 2007 and has held play-calling responsibilities since the beginning of the 2009 season when Mike Schultz left for Illinois. He has been linked to higher-profile jobs in each of the past two offseasons, most recently interviewing for the offensive coordinator vacancy at Clemson earlier this month after interviewing for the same position at USC last season.
The LSU job became available last Thursday when the Tigers' last offensive coordinator, Gary Crowton, decided to team up with new Maryland coach Randy Edsall as the Terrapins' offensive coordinator. Many LSU fans were calling for a change at that position anyway because of the Tigers
