RUSTON - Louisiana Tech fans wishing to participate in tailgating prior to the five home games at Joe Aillet Stadium this year are encouraged to begin making plans now as the Bulldogs begin their first year as a member of Conference USA.

Skip Holtz and Co. will open the home portion of their schedule Sept. 7 when the Bulldogs host Lamar at 6 p.m. The additional four home games include Tulane (Sept. 12), North Texas (Oct. 19), Southern Miss (Nov. 9) and Tulsa (Nov. 23).

Over the past few decades tailgating at Joe Aillet Stadium has become a way of life for Bulldog fans with the addition of the Argent Pavilion, Tailgate Alley, the Kids Zone, the Walk of Pride and many more game-day traditions.

Prior to each home game during the season, a tailgating menu will be announced as fans can enter the contests judged by selected Louisiana Tech student athletes as awards will be given out for best food, largest group and best decorations.

For further information on tailgating, fans can call Adam McGuirt or Tyson Baldwin at 318-255-7950 or Bill Graham at 318-257-2056.

Fans are also reminded that season tickets are still on sale and can be purchased by calling 318-257-3631, emailing techtickets@latech.edu or logging onto LATechsports.com. Individual game tickets for the Army game on Sept. 28 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas are also on sale.
