Looking at a box score is something anyone can do. Who lead my team in scoring? How'd we shoot from the field? And while that knowledge is useful, does it really earn you bonus points around the water cooler? That's why I'm here. I'm bringing you the S.W.I.M: Statistics Worth Increased Media. Let Joe from accounting regurgitate what he heard on the way in this morning; you're better than that. Use these nuggets to gain a unique perspective about last night's Thunder/Pelicans game.

Kevin Durant is shooting a mere 42.6% from the field in April when he attempts at least 15 shots during a road game. He's shooting just 28.3% from three in those games.

Six of the Thunder's last seven losses have seen Durant hand out at least five assists and grab five rebounds.

Derek Fisher jacked up seven triples in this one, that's two more attempts than he has from the line for the month as a whole.

Caron Butler has three games in his 1.5 months with Oklahoma City where he has made at least four three pointers, but this was his first game as a member of the Thunder with four-plus FTM.

For the first time this season, Jeremy Lamb played more than five minutes and did not attempt a two pointer.

The Pelicans lost the first two such games this season, but have now won three straight since we entered the New Year in which Tyreke Evans attempts at least 20 shots.

January 16th, 2013 was the last time the Pelicans won a game in which Evans had eight-plus assists and rebounds.

Jeff Withey blocked twice as many shots tonight as he did in New Orleans previous five victories.

Luke Babbitt has attempted 14 three pointers over his last two games, his most in consecutive games since mid-April of 2012.

Over the last four days, Austin Rivers has doubled his number of multi three pointer games this season.
