Swedish soccer players salute the lone fan who came to support them
There are die-hard fans, and then there’s this guy.
Swedish soccer team Gefle IF traveled to take on Kalmar FF last week and only one fan bothered to make the trip.
It’s six hours each way by car or eight hours by train, Gefle is 15th in the 16-team league and the game was on a weeknight, so you can forgive the rest of the Gefle faithful for not making the trip.
After pulling off the upset with a late goal, the players came together to show the superfan their appreciation.

Gefle continued kept the win streak going on Sunday against league-leading Malmo. The game was at home, so the support was a little better.
