There aren't a lot of 305-pound skill-position players out there. And while Arizona State's Will Sutton won't officially be one on the roster -- he's a returning consensus All-American at defensive tackle expected to be among the candidates for the Bednarik Award -- you'll see him lined up in the backfield at times this year, according to ASU coach Todd Graham.
Sutton, a senior who measured in for fall camp at 6-foot-1, 305 pounds, is expected to see time primarily in short-yardage sets.
Will this be part of a Heisman campaign? Perhaps. Will he have packages of plays designed to make him a focal part of the offense, a la the Cardinals' Patrick Peterson? Almost definitely not.
But will it be entertaining? Absolutely.
