Sustainable romps by 5 3/4 lengths at Aqueduct

NEW YORK (AP) Sustainable romped to a 5 3/4-length victory Friday in the $67,620 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.

The 4-year-old trained by Kiaran McLaughlin set the early pace and steadily improved her advantage. Junior Alvarado was aboard for the mile in 1:36.78 on the fast track.

Sustainable got her third win in 16 starts, paying $10.20, $5.30 and $5.10.

Rapid Repair edged Tahoe Tigress by a neck in the battle for second. She returned $7 and $6.90.
