FRISCO, Texas (AP) -- Suspended Dallas defensive end Randy Gregory is back with the Cowboys, but owner and general manager Jerry Jones gave no indication when or if the second-year player will get on the field in 2016.
Jones said on his radio show Tuesday that Gregory had returned after spending time in a rehab facility. He is serving a four-game suspension to start the season for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. An appeal on a 10-game ban for another violation is pending.
The team moved Gregory to the suspended list Monday after he spent training camp on reserve-did not report while in rehab.
Gregory slid to the Cowboys at the end of the second round in the 2015 draft after testing positive for marijuana at the NFL combine.
