Suns bring Marshall back from D-League

The Suns on Friday recalled guard Kendall Marshall from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League.

Marshall, the team's first-round pick in June's draft at No. 13 overall, had been assigned the to their D-League on Nov. 29 after playing sparingly early in the year behind point guards Goran Dragic and Sebastian Telfair.

He appeared in nine games for the Jam and averaged a league-leading 7.6 assists to go along with 9.6 points in 31 minutes per game. He had two double-digit assist performances and eight or more assists in five of his 10 appearances.

Marshall will be available for the Suns' game Saturday night at Portland.
