(FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.) — On Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 10:30 p.m. ET, Sun Sports will air the first game in a series of “HEAT Classics” to celebrate the team’s 25th Anniversary. “HEAT Classics” will feature a variety of notable and exciting wins in the franchise’s 25-year history.
Tune in on February 6th as the series opens with the HEAT’s very first victory when they beat the Los Angeles Clippers on December 14, 1988. Follow the series as fans relive the HEAT’s pioneer moments including the largest comeback against the Indiana Pacers in ’89, the flyswatter game against the Charlotte Hornets in ’89, the first win against the Boston Celtics in ’91, the first win against the Chicago Bulls in ’93, and the “Road Warriors” win against the Bulls in ’96. The series concludes when the HEAT wins their first Playoff Series in game 5 against the Orlando Magic, on May 4, 1997.
