Sun Devils add 4-star forward from Oklahoma JC

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Willie Atwood, a 6-foot-8 forward from Connors State in Oklahoma, is the seventh newcomer to the Arizona State basketball program. The third-team junior college All-American picked the Sun Devils over Florida State and Iowa and signed his national letter of intent on Thursday.
Atwood is rated as a four-star recruit. He averaged 20.8 points and 9.0 rebounds per game for Connors State this year.
He is the second signee of the week, joining former UNLV forward Savon Goodman.
They join an incoming class that includes guards Roosevelt Scott, Gerry Blakes, Tra Holder and Kodi Justice and forward Connor MacDougall.
