Storm edge closer to 1st-place Cronulla in Australia's NRL

SYDNEY (AP) The Melbourne Storm moved to within two points of first-place Cronulla on Sunday with a 29-20 win over the Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League.
With Melbourne leading 26-0 at halftime, the Tigers scored four consecutive tries to pull to within six points before a late field goal and penalty goal clinched the match for the Storm.
In another match Sunday, Canberra moved back into the top eight with a 30-22 win over the Gold Coast Titans, the Raiders' fourth win in five matches.
Fourth-place North Queensland plays Manly on Monday to conclude the 16th round.

Earlier in the round, Cronulla beat the New Zealand Warriors 19-18, the Sharks' 11th win in a row.
Third-place Parramatta and the 15th-place Sydney Roosters had weekend byes.
