Stoch wins again to extend 4 Hills lead

GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (AP) Defending champion Kamil Stoch won his second straight ski jumping World Cup to extend his lead in the Four Hills Tournament on Monday.

The Pole soared 135.5 meters with his first jump and 139.5 meters on his second for a total of 283.4 points on the Garmisch-Partenkirchen hill.

Germany's Richard Freitag was second again, as he was in Oberstdorf, with jumps of 132.0 and 137.0 for 275.8 points.

Norway's Anders Fannemel came third on 270.2 and Junshiro Kobayashi of Japan was fourth, ahead of Slovenia's Tilen Bartol.

Ahead of competitions in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen in Austria, Stoch has 563.1 points, 11.8 ahead of Freitag.

Freitag still leads the overall standings on 710 points, 187 ahead of Stoch.
