WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (AP) -- Stanford is taking home three of the Pac-10's top awards after another perfect run through the conference.

The league announced Tuesday that Stanford point guard Jeanette Pohlen won Pac-10 Player of the Year, forward Chiney Ogwumike was named the conference's freshman of the year and Tara VanDerveer was honored as coach of the year.

Arizona senior Ify Ibekwe won defensive player of the year.

Pohlen is the fourth straight Cardinal to win the Pac-10's top honor after guiding No. 2 Stanford to its second straight 18-0 regular season in the conference. She has averaged 15.8 points and 4.8 assists per game this season. She and Ogwumike were joined by teammates Nnemkadi Ogwumike and Kayla Pedersen on the 15-player all-conference team. Pedersen, a senior, played high school basketball at Mesa Red Mountain and is a four-time all-conference selection.

Stanford has a double bye in this week's Pac-10 tournament and won't play until Friday's semifinal.

Arizona's Ibekwe was named to the All-Defensive team and All-Pac-10 team for a third time. She leads the conference in scoring (16.1 points per game) and rebounding (10.0), is second in blocks (1.57) and third in steals (2.43). She ranks fifth all-time in the Pac-10 in career rebounds with 1,160.

Ibekwe was joined on the all-conference team by teammate Davellyn Whyte, a sophomore guard from Phoenix. Arizona State was represented on the all-conference team by senior guard Dymond Simon from Phoenix.

The rest of the all-conference team includes Doreena Campbell, Jasmine Dixon and Darxia Morris of UCLA; Ashley Corral and Briana Gilbreat of USC, Nia Jackson of Oregon, Kristi Kingma of Washington and DeNesha Stallworth of California.

ASU's Kimberly Brandon and Becca Tobin were honorble mention selections.
