Spring Classic Wiffle Ball Challenge: FOX Sports Southwest vs. ESPN Dallas
FOX Sports Southwest and ESPN Dallas, the local television and radio broadcast homes of the Texas Rangers, have teamed up to host a wiffle ball challenge on Saturday, June 1 at 12:30 p.m. at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark outside Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
The first-ever Spring Classic will pit FOX Sports Southwest vs. ESPN Dallas in a friendly wiffle ball game to benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.
FOX Sports Southwest and ESPN Dallas announcers will compete in the wiffle ball challenge.
They'll be joined by local celebrities and Rangers alumni who will be picked in a draft by the broadcast teams.
The 2013 Spring Classic at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark will be played prior to the
Rangers’ game against the Kansas City Royals at 3 p.m.
FOX Sports Southwest will host its RANGERS LIVE pregame show from the wiffle ball challenge.
Tickets to the event are $10 and can be purchased at www.texasrangers.com. A Texas Rangers game ticket is NOT included with the 2013 Spring Classic purchase.
