Sorry, Seattle, Chiefs fans now own world record for crowd noise

By Sam Gardner, FOXSports.com A few weeks ago, the crowd at CenturyLink Field in Seattle made all kinds of noise and set a Guinness World Record for having the loudest crowd ever. But Seattle’s record is already the old record now, thanks to roughly 75,000 Chiefs fans who became the new “world’s noisiest fans” on Sunday. A representative from the Guinness Book of World Records was on hand at Arrowhead Stadium during Kansas City's 24-7 win over the Oakland Raiders to see if the fans could top the 136.6-decibel mark set by the Seahawks' fans on Sept. 19. And sure enough, the fine folks of Kansas City got it done:

The announced crowd Sunday was 76,394, however we’ve got to imagine there were at least a few Raiders fans on hand who had no interest in helping the Chiefs faithful set the record. But clearly, the Arrowhead crowd didn’t need them, and with the Chiefs now 6-0 on the season, I wouldn’t expect them to quiet down anytime soon.
