Sooners AD Castiglione elected to Missouri Sports Hall of Fame

Oklahoma Sooners athletic director Joe Castiglione was one of 15 people elected into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.

The enshrinement date is Nov. 15 in Columbia, Mo.

Castiglione has been at Oklahoma since 1998, but before that he spent 17 years in the Missouri athletic department working in marketing before serving as the athletic director for five years.

Castiglione is the chair of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee for the upcoming season. 

Castiglione graduated from the University of Maryland in 1979.
