Over the last two weeks on Scout I have broken down the Sunshine State, taking a look at the top 15 prospects at each position in the class of 2015.
Here's a look at the defensive backs, as many of Florida elite cornerbacks and safeties have both size and speed.
1) Derwin James (Haines City)No. 1 safety in nation
James is the nation's top rated safety. He's built like a linebacker and runs like a cornerback. James is a fantastic athlete. Barring injury, he should be a plug and play guy from the get go. James excels in coverage. He can play deep and roam or you can line him up in the box. James can also light you up in run support. He has been a long time commitment to the Seminoles.

2) Kevin Toliver (Jacksonville Trinity Christian)
No. 3 cornerback in nation
Toliver is a very physical and big cornerback that's a five-star recruit. He has a very unique skill set of size, speed and aggressiveness. Once he puts it all together Toliver could and should be another great one from LSU. He's been a long time pledge to the Tigers. Toliver's upside is off the charts,

3) Tavarus McFadden (Plantation American Heritage)
No. 5 cornerback in nation
McFadden is built like a big safety that can play the cornerback position. He runs well and is long, which makes him play even bigger than his 6-foot-2 frame. This is a physical kid with a ton of upside and versatility. He can play cornerback or safety at the next level.
Recruiting: FSU, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, UCF and others.
