It's Saturday night and it's time to go racing in Richmond!

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series prepares for one of the most exciting and stressful nights of the season, as the 12-driver Chase field will be set once the checkered flag falls. 

As the drivers and crews prepare for tonight's ready, we get you ready with the sights and sounds from the track. 

4:15 p.m. -- Jimmie Johnson spent the day away from the track on Friday after the birth of his second daughter, but it's back to business tonight.

Old 'five-time' might just be a bit tired, though. 

Speaking of being tired, how does Kevin Harvick get ready for a wild night under the lights at Richmond? By spending a little down time under the covers, of course.

Samantha Busch already wears many hats as a model, fashionista and wife of NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kyle Busch.

Now, Samantha is getting into the chocolate business as well.

Samantha dropped by the media center at Richmond International Raceway Saturday afternoon to give out samples of two new recipes she's cooked up with American Heritage Chocolate.

4:20 p.m. -- While the drivers are resting, the teams are hard at work in the garage prepping for tonight's race. 

4:35 p.m. -- We're live with NASCAR RaceDay on FOX Sports 1! 

Hendrick Motorsports' Kasey Kahne chats with Wendy Venturini about his chances to earn his third win of the season. 

4:50 p.m. -- Racing injured for the second week in a row, Martin Truex Jr. has some big plans for his cast if he wins tonight.

5:05 p.m. -- Back in the saddle again. Jimmie Johnson checks out his ride for tonight's race for the first time this weekend.

5:25 p.m. -- Speaking of Jimmie, he doesn't only have a new addition to the family, he's also carrying new sticker on the side of his car. 

5:30 p.m. -- It's a packed house at the drivers meeting.

6:45 p.m. -- Not on the Chase bubble, Kevin Harvick has one thing on his mind tonight, but knows it's going to be a great race!

7:15 p.m. -- Get those calculators ready for a busy night! Who said math couldn't be fun?!

7:30 p.m. -- Before the race, J.D. Gibbs denied a report that Joe Gibbs Racing was looking at the possiblity of having IndyCar's Tony Kanaan join the team as a Nationwide Series driver. 

One thing that is confirmed, Kanaan's keeping a close eye on NASCAR!

7:40 p.m. -- The anthem has been played, the drivers are in their cars, and the engines have been fired! It's time for some short-track Saturday night action from Richmond International Raceway!
