Sensational Slam wins Belmont's Diablo Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) Sensational Slam rallied for a 1 1/2-length victory in the $100,000 Diablo Stakes on Wednesday at Belmont Park.
The 6-year-old trained by Patrick Quick and ridden by Cornelio Velasquez got his 11th win in 33 starts. He paid $5.80, $3.20 and $3.20 as the 9-5 favorite.
The time was 1:09.07 for the six furlongs on the fast track.
Green Gratto finished second but was disqualified for stretch interference against Royal Currier.

In the revised order of finish, Royal Currier was elevated to the place spot, returning $4.70 and $4.10.
Green Gratto dropped to third, paying $6.30.
