See You At Peelers hit 21 on Thursday night.
The biggest star in harness racing ran her career record to 21 for 21 by winning a $46,826 division of the Rye Pace at Yonkers Raceway. The 3-year-old filly led throughout the race.
"I thought she looked as good as she ever did," trainer Jimmy Takter told the New York Post. "She'll go down in the book as the best horse I've ever been around."
Driven by Marcus Johansson, the fantastic filly tore up the competition to win by 2-1/2 lengths over Tea Party Princess. New Album was third.
The overwhelming 1-9 favorite, See You At Peelers went right for the lead and never was challenged. She returned $2.10 on a win bet and finished with a time of 1 minute, 52-2/5 seconds.
"This is not the kind of horse that comes along every year," Takter said. "This is a unique horse. Right now, she's writing history."
