The Blue Jackets (17-14-3, 37 points) head to Chicago (19-14-3, 41 points) on Sunday to take on the Blackhawks under similar circumstances as the last time they invaded the United Center.
The Jackets defeated Chicago 3-2 on Oct. 23 after being manhandled at home by the Calgary Flames to the tune of 6-2 the prior night. Columbus now goes to northern Illinois after being thoroughly embarrassed 7-3 by the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday in Columbus.
Head coach Scott Arniel is hoping for a similar bounce-back performance from his team on Sunday.
