BRISBANE, Australia (AP) Sam Burgess is set to make his return to rugby league when he starts for the World team in the NRL All-Stars match against Australia's Indigenous All Stars.

Teams for the Feb. 13 match were announced Tuesday, with World coach Wayne Bennett selecting Burgess subject to ratification of his contract with South Sydney, the NRL club he has returned to after playing rugby union in England.

Burgess played for England at the Rugby World Cup but his transition into the centers in the 15-man code was unsuccessful, prompting his switch back to rugby league.

He will join Australia captain Cam Smith and players from New Zealand, Fiji, England, Wales, Samoa and Papua New Guinea in the World team.
