Royals option Orlando to Triple A to make room for Zobrist

It's back to Omaha for Paulo Orlando.

The Kansas City Royals officially welcomed infielder/outfielder Ben Zobrist to the club Thursday, optioning out Orlando to make room on the 25-man roster. Zobrist will be in uniform -- wearing No. 18 -- for Thursday night's game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. 

Orlando has appeared in 46 games this season for the Royals, hitting .237 with four homers and 17 RBI.
