Ronda Rousey dresses as a Stormtrooper for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'
It seems the entire world is excited about the opening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and UFC star Ronda Rousey got in the spirit by dressing as a Stormtrooper to go see the movie on Thursday night.
Rousey posted a photo alongside a couple of friends — the really tall Boba Fett we'd have to assume is her boyfriend, UFC heavyweight Travis Browne — as she celebrated the opening of the new movie by attending in full costume.
Rousey wasn't the only UFC fighter excited about the opening of the new movie directed by J.J. Abrams that reunites the cast from the original "Star Wars" trilogy that was completed in 1983 with "Return of the Jedi".
Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre also seemed really excited about the new movie, to the point where he lost sleep over the anticipation of going to see it in theaters.
UFC lightweight and noted nerd Joe Lauzon even posted his short and sweet review about the movie after seeing one of the initial showings on Thursday night.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is in theaters nationwide Dec. 18.
