Well, of all the cockamamie things you ever heard . . . now Ronald McDonald is giving unoriginal, inspirational speeches to mid-level professional hockey teams.
It's probably best if you just watch the video, but that's McDonald, the burger-chain guy, reciting the pregame speech from the movie Miracle to the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League.
This happened on something called "McDonald's Jersey Night," which was earlier this month and is more or less what it sounds like.
The speech seemed to be effective, as Allen beat the Wichita Thunder 4-0.
The Americans are an affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars.
