Romo misses practice in London
LONDON - Quarterback Tony Romo did not practice today as the team held their first practice at Allianz Park, home of the Saracens Rugby Club.
Head coach Jason Garrett did state the twelve-year quarterback, who has two transverse process fractures in his back, participated in a walkthrough at the team hotel earlier in the morning.
Until Romo's latest back injury kept him out the Cardinals game, the twelve-year quarterback would take Wednesdays off to work on his core during team portions of practice. Today was no different, as the Cowboys try to keep a regular work schedule in London.
"We had a good, productive walk through at the hotel today," Garrett said.
"We anticipate him adopting that schedule that we've had most of the year."
Other notable absences at practice included defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford and linebacker Rolando McClain. Crawford left Sunday's game with a sprained MCL, and McClain left with a right knee injury.
Starting right tackle Doug Free returned to practice. He has missed the last three games with a broken foot.
