Two years ago, Rhein Gibson shot a 55 while playing with his friends in Oklahoma City. Yes. 55. On 18 holes.

Saturday, the Australian, who played golf at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Okla., is paired with two of the biggest names in the sport.

Gibson shot a 72 Thursday and a 74 on Friday making the cut at the British Open at two over par. He'll tee of Saturday alongside Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth at Royal Liverpool Golf Club.

We all know about Spieth and Woods, but Gibson's story is remarkable, too.

He shot a 29-26 at Edmond's River Oaks Country Club. He had 11 birdies and two eagles and was 10-under par on the back nine.

Gibson is 28. He shot the round of 55 in May of 2012.
