RG3 recruiting Snoop Dogg's son for Baylor via text message

Earlier in the week, Baylor officially joined the list of 13 schools to offer rapper Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus a spot in their 2015 recruiting class.

Broadus seems interested, too.

When he spoke with 247Sports of the offer, the star receiver said, "€œI got high interest in Baylor. I like how much they throw the ball. I also like their winning percentage."€

Of course, Baylor isn't messing around when it comes to recruiting him either. Broadus tweeted a picture of Baylor's all black uniform set and mentioned how impressed he is with Baylor's new stadium.

Broadus also tweeted Saturday a picture of a text message his father received from Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III. In it, it seems the Heisman winner is going through good old dad to talk up Baylor. (RG3 quickly retweeted it, too)

Now, given that Broadus' dad is a world-famous hip-hop artist, he probably wasn't very starstruck, but it is cool to see arguably the school's most famous alumni reaching out to recruit you to a school.

RG3 is going to have to work hard on the Dogg family. Dad Snoop is a longtime, hardcore USC fan and Broadus revealed the Trojans are still the frontrunners. But when it comes to RG3, anything is possible, right?

Last season, the No. 64 prospect nationally recorded 685 yards on 60 catches, including eight in for TDs. He is currently ranked the No. 4 wide receiver available.

Baylor joined a list that includes USC, UCLA, Oregon and Boise State that have offered a scholarship to Broadus.
