Reports: Gonzalez to be Named Braves Manager

A day after getting eliminated in the NLDS it appears that Atlanta has
reached an agreement with Fredi Gonzalez to become the next manager of the
Braves and replace Bobby Cox.

According to local affiliate Fox 5 in Atlanta, the Braves have an agreement
in place with the former manager of the Florida Marlins and an announcement
could come as early as this week.

Cox is scheduled to have his final press conference Wednesday at Turner
Field. There is speculation the Braves could introduce Gonzalez in the next day
or two.
