After some brief concerns earlier this month over his ability to transfer to Oregon as planned, former Eastern Washington quarterback Vernon Adams is in the process of finishing his coursework at EWU and will look to enroll at Oregon next month, according to The Register-Guard.
It doesn’t appear that Adams will be on campus in time for the beginning of UO’s training camp, but better late than never.

Adams is currently taking a math class through the Community Education program, which allows anyone to register for regular UO courses without formal admission.
He expects to complete the course by Aug. 13 to fulfill the requirements for his EWU degree. Oregon’s fall camp begins on Aug. 10.
“I’m probably going to be a couple days late,” Adams said during a phone interview with The Register-Guard on Friday night. “But I expect it to all work out. I’m real excited, just trying to stay focused with this class and getting ready to have fun playing football again.”
This is all fantastic news for Ducks fans who can breathe a sigh of relief. As it stands, Oregon is our No. 6 program most likely to finish undefeated in 2015, and the likelihood of an unblemished record should increase if Adams is able to adapt smoothly and win the starting job.
