More football in Texas could be coming soon.

Former San Antonio mayor Henry Cisneros and a group of city leaders will make a pitch to Oakland Raiders officials on Friday in California, according to a report by the San Antonio Express-News.

Discussions of the NFL team's possible move to the Alamo City began last summer.

The 65,000-seat Alamodome in downtown San Antonio is an NFL-ready facility. The stadium hosts the annual Alamo Bowl, and is the home of UTSA football.

The Express-News reports that Cisneros believes there's a "very clear 50-50 proposition" of the team moving to San Antonio.
