Philadelphia Eagles training camp gets started August 2 and it looks as if quarterback Sam Bradford will be ready to participate fully with his team.

Bradford is reportedly looking great and has been in the rehab room every day of the summer.

Bradford said in June if he couldn’t be ready for 11-on-11 drills come the start of training camp, then “something has gone horribly wrong.” Bradford, who is coming off his second ACL surgery in two seasons, was still limited during minicamp last month.

With this news, it now appears Bradford will be fully healthy to compete with quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow for the starting job — a competition that seems to be more of a Chip Kelly-led facade than anything else. The Eagles traded for the injury-prone Bradford because Kelly thought that his accuracy fit his coaching system perfectly. If healthy, he will be the Week 1 starter.
