Report: Pacers' George won't be suspended for Game 7
ATLANTA -- Indiana Pacers star Paul George will not be suspended for Saturday's Game 7, after briefly walking onto the court following an altercation during Game 6, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
With 19 seconds left before halftime, the Hawks' Mike Scott and Pacers' George Hill received double technicals, as a brief scuffle broke out under Indiana's basket.
Two Pacers, George and Rasual Butler, stepped onto to the court but did not inflame the situation, which remained under control.
In the past, such situations have resulted in suspensions during the NBA playoffs.
Pacers coach Frank Vogel seemed unfazed about the situation after the game.
"I haven't seen it," Vogel said of video of the incident. "Somebody told me about it. I'm not concerned about any suspensions until we hear something ... I don't imagine that there would be."
Apparently, he was right.
